Welcome to The Builder Mindset

You’re not short of ideas.

There are far too many brilliant women sitting on ideas they could already be building.

Not because they’re lazy. Not because they lack ambition. Usually, somewhere along the way, they decided that building things with technology belonged to someone else. The developers. The people who know what all the acronyms mean.

AI has changed that line.

Where this takes you

Not a new personality.
A new way of seeing yourself.

  1. “I’m not technical.”

  2. “I have valuable ideas.”

  3. “I can make a first version.”

  4. “I am a builder.”

What’s inside

Six episodes. One five-minute action after each.

Plus a short welcome to start and a closing note at the end.

  1. Episode 1: You are not “not technical”

Being technical isn’t a personality type. It’s a set of skills, and you already have more of them than you think.

  2. Episode 2: From consumer to builder

Learning can be a very convincing form of hiding. The shift from collecting ideas to making the smallest version.

  3. Episode 3: Start before you can see the whole map

You need enough clarity for the next meaningful move. Not the next fifty.

  4. Episode 4: Your judgement is the valuable part

AI can shape the raw material. You decide what’s true, what sounds like you and what goes out.

  5. Episode 5: Build once, benefit repeatedly

Ten minutes repeated forever isn’t a ten-minute task. Finding the build your future self will be glad exists.

  6. Episode 6: Dreamer to doer

Dreamers imagine what doesn’t exist. Builders give it form. The world needs both parts of you.

Your host, Marni Lindsay

I didn’t begin as a coder either.

My background is in product, business analysis and solving problems. For a long time I still thought there was a line between people who have ideas and people who make them real.

When I came back from maternity leave with a dream of building something of my own, I started giving my ideas dates. I announced my first webinar before I felt ready. I built the page, invited people and ran it.

Then I built She Builds, and helped other women make things they’d assumed were beyond them.

You’re not here just to use what other people build.
You can build too.
